12 years old, attractive bay with white stripe and socks.
Jack is a fun, safe horse that will make an ideal first hack for a rider coming off ponies - he made the transition easy for me. Alternatively would be a great competition horse for someone wanting a safe, sane all-all rounder.
Training eventing with the ability to go higher, show jumping 1.10m, calm and rideable on the flat with really nice paces. Gets great comments in show hunter. Always placed in paced and mannered! Has also done showing and will be trying endurance this season so great for anyone wanting a horse that allows them to try a wide range of disciplines, current riders main focus is eventing.
Very sane and sensible, bombproof in traffic, great to ride alone or in company. Good to shoe, worm and vaccinate, generally a hassle-free horse. Has done pony club including camps, would make a good C to B certificate mount. Great to float.

This boy was rescued after his owner couldn't afford the farrier and tried to do his feet themselves
and made a bit of a mess of them. His feet are coming right, but will need another 6-7
months of corrective trimming.
Suit an intermediate rider - experienced.
Floats, trucks. Not fazed by kids (an 8 year old catches him and grooms him under supervision).
Doesn't seem to be fazed by traffic or animals. Very friendly, people horse. He's the first to
the gate for attention. Holds weight without hard feeding. Respectful of tape.
Before his feed were hacked he had done:
* Practice days.
* Pony Club.
* Twighlight showjumping.
* Hacking.
* Lessons.
* Riding Club.
Not for a beginner as can be pushy on the ground if excited or if horses are racing around. No
dirt, just forward.
Comes with winter cover, bit and bridle, lessons if required and his new owner will help by
paying half of the farrier's fee.
There will be a lease agreement and the owner will check in 3 months, then 6 months after
to ensure that everyone is happy.

Grazing Wanted!
Temporary Grazing Wanted. Preferably on a hill for a two year old colt, from May to October. We only have small, flat paddocks and I like to get my youngsters out on the hills for a spell to learn balance and develop some muscles.
Will need to be with someone knowledgable, safe fences, regularly checked etc. Ideally I would like him to run with a gelding/s or in foal mare, to keep him company and his horse manners in line. Knowledgable trustworthy owner, will visit regularly to ensure he is behaving and care for matters such as drenching, feet maintenance etc.

Foxie
Another theft has been reported in the Helensville/ South Head area. A chestnut 14.2/3hh Welshie/station bred cross gelding went missing on Friday 5th September 2008. Foxie is all chestnut, bright deep red colour, with a star in the centre of his forehead. He was barefoot, with a touch of seedy toe. If you know of his whereabouts or hear of anything that could help track Foxie down please contact owner Jan on 021 265 5966.

Red ''King Tivio''
17-year-old (looks a lot younger though) 15.1 hands, Chestnut Quarter Horse gelding, was stolen from a paddock in Dargaville, during the day or night of Sunday, 23 November 2008. Red has many distinguishing white markings, including a white star, white strip and snip joined on his face, he is also branded with Q on his right hand rump and 2/1 on his right shoulder. On his left shoulder it looks like he has a smiley face branded.
Also when he was taken he was wearing red and blue web halter with a tartan cream nose flap. Red belongs to a young girl who is missing him very much and just wants him back. Red is very loved horse and his family misses him terribly and wants him safely home.

Hi my name is Miki, i am a secondary school student in Hamilton-Pukete area, i am always looking for a couple of paid bits and pieces with horses.
I've had about 10yrs experience with horses and started out traditional, now doing Natural Horsemanship with my own horse. Have done much of Parelli levels 1,2,3 and some 4. Also learnt from Chip Johnson, Dave Stuart and others.
I have previously worked for a private business for hiring of ponies/horses for parties/galas etc, a few years being a pony trainee at the Waikato Equine Centre, and work experience at Cambridge Stud.
I am looking to people who are like minded / want to try something different with their horse(natural)-i have been hired to care for horses while owners have been away, instruction for younger persons and natural horsemanship with people's horses.
Your place or mine. Playing with horses on the ground / in the saddle- Want your horse to be doing something other than sitting around in the paddock? or just want to try something different, natural and interactive? Allow your horse to express him/herself. This is suitable if you don't have much time for your horse and even if the horse is in lightwork or just a paddock mate as i can tone it up or down depending on the horses abilities.
