Welcome to St Andrews Pony Club

St Andrews Pony Club, a branch of the Hamilton Pony Club Inc, meets fortnightly at the Waikato Equestrian Centre Grounds on Pukete Road. We are a friendly, progressive club that prides itself on providing a positive, encouraging and fun environment to learn and grow with your horse. We are able to use the sand arenas, cross country and other great WEC facilities at the grounds. We are a small club with approximately 20 riders and we welcome new members so if you are interested in joining please contact our secretary Vanessa Forster 07 855 3215.

Rallies have begin on the 29th August 2009 and we are looking forward to seeing you out and about. Please note that you do need to be registered to enter NZEF horse trials but 'day' registrations can be obtained. Waerenga is in particular promoting this, probably to cater for Pony Club Riders. Puhinui is also running an under 18 training class.

Hamilton Pony Club Committe meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month.
St Andrews Branch of the Hamilton Pony Club meetings will are on the 1 ^st Thursday of the month.

Membership

Before becoming a financial member you are entitled to attend 3 rallies first. Membership is $100 for 1 ^st rider, $75 2 ^nd rider and $50 for the 3 ^rd rider in a family. Fees set at AGM 4/5/2009

Uniform

We are in the process of phasing in a new uniform over a 3 year period. The uniform includes a white collared shirt with a maroon tie and a Hamilton Pony Club long sleeved white and maroon top (which will replace the maroon vest in the current uniform). The long sleeved top can be ordered at a price of $49.95. These need to be worn at all events where our branch is represented. However, at our rallies our branch t-shirts can be worn with jodhpurs. These t-shirts can be purchased at a cost of $25.88 each and come in sizes 10 - 14 kids sizes, and adults S - XXL.
